Chord Chart repository
Online chord diagrams for making your own resources:
- - https://www.ukulelecentral.com.au/
- - https://www.boldts.net/ukulele/uke-chords/ (Donate some $$ if you find it useful!)
The NZ files still to come. These are the best ones, because they show the chord diagrams with fingering indicated.
There is an (paid for) App that loads a ukulele (& guitar, bass and guitarlele) chord font into Word, for simple songs, Here is the link - https://www.ukefarm.com/chordette/
The chordete font means you have to have a list of chords at either the beginning or end of the document.
The Boldts images can sit at any spot in a word doc, Save as PDF, then upload for my students.

A note about all the UM (Unstrung Music) files above, from Stephanie Payne
Hi AUTLAnians,
I get sick of constantly drawing up staves, tablines and keyboards on a whiteboard (shared with non-muso's) when I'm explaining scales and key signatures etc, so I've just whipped up some A3 printouts to laminate and write on with dry-erase markers. You might also find them handy so here they are.
Thanks Stephanie!

Hawaiian Music
Q From Tom - "f you had to pick a couple of songs that really encapsulate Hawaiian ukulele music, what would you choose?"
A from Stu -
"Traditional Hawaiian is best though you have to learn the language. The stuff Aloha Baby do is pretty kitch Hapa Haole and at times verges on being un PC. 'Green Rose Hula' is good. 'Sea Breeze'... I like 'A song of Old Hawaii' and 'Waikiki' maybe The 'Hukilau Song'. Check out Charles Kaipo's album on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrwXYrw1aFg"
